Google doodle brings back traditional Mexican game 'Loteria' amid COVID-19 lockdown
While the world is grappling to contain the deadly coronavirus and majority of countries are under lockdown, Google on May 5 shared a throwback game, Loteria.

While world is grappling to contain deadly coronavirus and majority of countries are under lockdown, Google on May 5 shared a throwback game, Loteria. A traditional Mexican game which was published back in December 2019, Loteria is similar to Bingo.
rules of game are simple, players are supposed to mark spots on a board with a token or traditionally raw bean. main aim of game is to fill board before all players. To play traditional game, care anuncer pulls out illustrated cases such as La Luna and El Arbol from a deck. n players are supposed to locate card anunced on ir boat and mark it.

Once player completes board, he/she is n required to shout out ‘Loteria’. first person to shout ‘Loteria’ is n declared winner. According to Google doodle p, game is still widely popular across Mexico and Latin community, wher langu teaching tool or for family game night. While doodle was created by five Mexican and Mexican-American illustrators, a Mexican YouTuber Luisito Comunica provided VoiceOver for card anuncer.
