'Grey’s Anatomy' producer reveals two storylines cut from season 16 due to early finale

Grey’s Anatomy is one of most popular and longest-running medical drama. series has completed 16 seasons till w. In a recent media interaction, Krista Verff, showrunner of Grey's Anatomy revealed that two storylines for season 16 were cut from show so as to end season early.
Grey’s Anatomy’s Season 16 was ended with episode 21. However, Krista stated that originally four more episodes were planned in season’s finale. Describing two storylines, Krista Verff said that viewers would have seen a storyline that would have describes why Teddy Altman cheated on Owen Hunt, and a storyline involving Andrew DeLuca that would have revisited human trafficking case. Krista Verff stated that Grey’s Anatomy h an episode coming up where makers were able to describe Teddy’s behaviour in a much better way. However, y didn’t get to air it. She ded that maybe storyline may change when y shoot season 17 of Grey’s Anatomy. Talking about character Kim Raver, Krista said that she feels sorry for Kim as she was left in a strange place in story at that point when she was finally having a happy ending for herself.

Furrmore, Krista spoke about DeLuca’s incomplete storyline and said that she was really disappointed that makers couldn’t complete it. She ded that y did a story where re was a victim of human trafficking like two episodes ago, and DeLuca recognised it but he was in such a mentally compromised, manic state that body listened to him and girl left. Krista Verff stated that she feels s that y cant air episode where girl comes back. She also dropped a hint for Grey’s Anatomy's fans when she revealed that she may complete story in next season. Grey’s Anatomy airs on Thursdays on ABC in US. It airs on Sky Witness in UK with selected episodes also available on w TV.
