Gulshan Devaiah and Sagarika Ghatge starrer Footfairy is a turbulent story of a monstrous ‘fairy’/psycho killer who takes away most beautiful feet he finds with himself after killing victim. psychological thriller became first-ever film to air directly on TV during COVID-19 pandemic. film premiered exclusively on &Pictures on October 24, 2020, and created quite a buzz among masses.

However, film's story received a mixed reaction from audience as well as film critics. film follows murder trial of a killer, who suffocates young girls and cuts off ir beautiful feet to take m away with him as his mementoes. Although premise of film mand to impress many, re were a few shortcomings which were pointed out by many, especially with its ending.

'Footfairy' plot and ending explained
Footfairy marks directorial debut Kanishk Verma and is a psychological thriller and an inconclusive mystery which leaves audience to even more heius solutions which even makers of film couldn't have thought. film revolves around life of Vivaan Deshmukh, played by Gulshan Devaiah, Sherlock Holmes of CBI, who embarks of a journey to find a psycho killer. As title of film suggests, master criminal in film is referred to as 'Footfairy'.

However, with increasing pressure as well as number of murders, Deshmukh zeroes down to Joshua Matws, played by Kunal Roy Kapur. Joshua's behaviour and mysterious absences le to him being prime suspect in film. However, Deshmukh lacks cold evidence. Along with highlighting murderer's vague fetish, film also showcases CBI officer's obsession with finding out culprit.

film ends on an unconventional te with a cliffhanger, which hints at a possible sequel. However, anuncement regarding same has been me as of yet by makers.
