It has been reported that US President Donald Trump has asked government to temporarily suspend issuing of H-1B visas effective immediately. decision was, reportedly, me in order to protect local workers in USA from facing unemployment.

What is H-1B visa?

H-1B visa is also referred to as US work visa. It falls under Immigration and Nationality Act in United States of America. visa allows employers from USA to temporarily hire employees from different parts of world in specialty fields. It has been reported that a person holding an H-1B visa could stay back in USA for a minimum of 3 years. However, duration of stay can be extended up to 6 years. After 6 years, person who held visa must reapply.
