Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has grabbed helines after his announcement of separation from his wife, Saira Banu, on November 19.

Rahman shared news of end of ir 29-year marriage via his official X account, where he posted a heartfelt message: "We h hoped to reach grand thirty, but all things, it seems, carry an unseen end. Even throne of God might tremble at weight of broken hearts. Yet, in this shattering, we seek meaning, though pieces may not find ir place again. To our friends, thank you for your kindness and for respecting our privacy as we walk through this fragile chapter."

Amidst announcement, a throwback video of actor Rahman, who is related to 'Jai Ho' composer, has gone viral. In video, he recounts a funny incident his wife shared during ir honeymoon. According to actor, inste of spending time with his wife, Rahman was practicing veena in anor room.

Talking to interviewer, actor shared, "I remember, when he got married, he took my sister-in-law for honeymoon to a hill station. I called m that night, it was just 12 or 1… She answered, she was alrey asleep. When I asked, 'Where is Rahman?' she said, 'I don’t know.' He was in anor room, practicing his veena… He was composing something; he’s that kind of person."

Rahman and Saira Banu married in 1995 in an arranged marriage. y have three children toger: two daughters, Khatija and Rahima, and a son named Ameen Rahman. announcement of ir separation has come as a shock to fans.
