This entire sequence of events begins when protagonist Matias finds an 'abandoned' laptop which he uses to skype call his friends. He later realizes that laptop is being used to store videos of people being brutally tortured which are n being sold to top bidder in secret online chat room. y realize magnitude of situation when actual owner of laptop shows up at house of Matias' girlfriend and threatens to kill her if his laptop is t returned. Things soon get ugly when Matias empties a bitcoin wallet from laptop after which owners realize that y longer possess laptop. hackers n attempt to hunt down Matias and his friends one by one while pinning evidence and crime on latter and his friends.
