After Oppenheimer Christopher Nolan Commences New Film: Cast, Plot, Release Date, All We Know So Far

Christopher Nolan is an iconic British-American film director, screenwriter, and producer who is known for creating exceptional sci-fi stories, such as Inception and Interstellar. Following his recent success with period drama Oppenheimer, which even fetched him his first Acemy Award, Nolan is now busy assembling star cast for his next project. Recent reports reveal that he has brought more A-list actors on board for his upcoming multiverse.

As Deline reports, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway have joined cast of Christopher Nolan's upcoming film. Earlier than this, Matt Damon and Tom Holland were ded as first cast for film. Tom Holland and Zendaya, a real-life couple, will work toger again in this new project.

While this will be first time Tom and Zendaya collaborate with Nolan, Anne Hathaway will reunite with director. She previously worked with him on Dark Knight Rises (2012), where she portrayed Catwoman alongside Christian Bale's Batman, and Interstellar (2014), in which she starred opposite Matw McConaughey.

Matt Damon will also return to work with Nolan, following ir collaborations on Interstellar and Oppenheimer.

Christopher Nolan has kept plot under wrap but booked release date

As per reports, plot details are being kept secret as of now, though sources suggest that setting is not contemporary. It remains unclear wher film is set in past or future. Christopher Nolan, who wrote script and will direct, is producing movie alongside his wife, Emma Thomas, under ir Syncopy banner. Universal Pictures will handle its distribution. 

This new project marks Nolan’s return to studio behind his successful drama Oppenheimer, which grossed an impressive $976 million worldwide. Filming is set to begin in early 2025, with an Imax release scheduled for July 17, 2026.
