Anne Hathaway comes home to a surprise baby shower thrown by friends

Hollywood actor Anne Hathaway recently celebrated her baby shower as she is expecting her second child with husband and fellow actor, Adam Shulman. The Get Smart actor celebrated her baby shower with close family and friends in attendance at her home in the city of New York. The Intern actor and Adam Shulman got married in the year 2012 and are proud parents to a 9-year-old, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman.

A surprise baby shower

As per reports, it was a surprise baby shower planned for the actor. In addition to this, Hathaway was initially shocked as she had not expected such a lovely gesture from everyone. Anne also hugged everyone who had planned the function and called them the best in the world.

Hathaway had donned an off-shoulder dress in navy blue color that was complemented by a gold necklace.

"Mommy brain"

In addition to this, the gathering had a table completely set up with baked food that was served along in trays made up of silver. 
At one of her public appearances, Hathaway stated that her brain was racing at all times as her "Mommy brain" was in full effect. When Hathaway made her pregnancy news public, she also talked about the problems she went through and offered to support and help anyone who was having trouble conceiving.

On the professional front, the Oscar winner will be next seen in The Witches wherein she will be playing the character of a witch. It is a fantasy comedy film that is being helmed by Robert Zemeckis. It will also star Chris Rock and Octavia Spencer in pivotal roles.
