Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter files restraining order against brother

The Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter filed a restraining order against brother Aaron Carter saying he was threatening to kill his pregnant wife, offspring.

Nick Carter, popular singer of Backstreet Boys filed a restraining order against his brother Aaron Carter. He said that his brother Aaron was threatening to kill his pregnant wife and his unborn child. Nick Carter on September 17 informed people on Twitter about his action. The singer said that he was left with no choice but to take an action his brother's threats. As reported by a news agency, the order suggests Aaron maintains a distance of minimum 100 feet from his brother Nick, his wife Lauren Kitt and other family members living in Las Vegas.

Nick tweets on the issue

Nick Carter tweeted a picture with text saying, "After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today". He further added, "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbours thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family." He also wrote, "We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else". Nick also added hashtags #mentalhealth, #GunControlNow, #GunControl in his tweet.

Aaron reacts on Twitter

Aaron Carter, in his defence, attacked his brother Nick Cartner in a series of tweets on September 18. He started by saying that his brother just served him with a restraining order. In the next tweet, he tagged his brother Nick and said that they're done for life and now he doesn't wish to see him in future. He then goes on replying to his followers supporting him and retweeting their tweets. He takes out his frustration in many upcoming tweets later on.

Carter family worried about Aaron

Reports suggest that the Carter family has been worried about the mental health of the 31-year-old Aaron. He admitted police made frequent visits to his house to have a check on his mental health. A news agency quoted the Carter family representative saying that Aaron is following the laws and he provides complete cooperation with the officials. A lot of wellness checks are done and no negative reaction followed it. Aaron Carter previously received treatment in rehab in the year 2017. He was also arrested later in Georgia for DUI and marijuana possession. His mugshot was released online recieving extreme reactions.
