The upcoming American action comedy-drama is the third instalment in the Charlie's Angels movie series. Based on the story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn, the movie is the helm of Elizabeth Banks. This movie is in a continuation of the plot that started with the television series by the same name. Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts’s series and Charlie’s Angels released in 2000 and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle in 2003, were the prequel to this new flick.
This film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the new Angels, who are working as spies for a private detective agency. The movie stars Sam Claflin and Noah Centineo in the pivotal roles. Read about the previous instalment’s plot.
Recap of the previous instalments
Charlie’s Angels, Natalie, Alex and Dylan gear up for a strike without giving a warning. They go undercover in search for the two missing bands. Those rings are not ordinary. These important rings contain crucial encrypted information which reveals the new identities of each person in the Federal Witness Protection Program. The Angels use their expertise as they excel in martial arts, and disguised to stop the perpetrator, as many witnesses are seen frequently dying. With the help of their trustworthy colleague Jimmy Bosley, the adventures of the Angels begin at a remote Mongolian outpost and comes to an end after Dylan is pressured to face a dark hidden secret from her past. The secret possesses the potential to ruin and put the lives of her other best friends in danger.
About the new film
The trio is now armed with the high-tech equipment and tools, loaded with pistols, high mileage vehicles, masters in the new martial art techniques and innumerable disguises. They are brimming with the motive to track down the kidnapped rich person and keeping his top-secret sound identification software out of bad hands. Charlie’s Angels is a huge upgrade of the 1970s action comedy movie. Helmed by Elizabeth Banks, this flick could easily fit in the Bond universe.
