The biographical film marks the first time Christian Bale and Matt Damon are appearing on the big screen together. According to media sources, both Christian and Matt will campaign in the lead actor category for the Oscars for their work in the film.

Ford Vs Ferrari releases on November 15 across the world
The plot of the film is based on the true story of the American automobile company, Ford's efforts to purchase the famous Italian sports car brand, Ferrari, in the early 1960s. When the deal fell through, the head of the Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford II, decided to defeat Ferrari at the famed Le Mans race with their indigenous vehicle, the Ford GT 40. A determined team of American engineers and designers, led by automotive visionary Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and his British driver, Ken Miles (Christian Bale) build the Ford GT 40 with the potential to finally defeat the perennially dominant Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans World Championship in France.

Christian Bale and Matt Damon are two of Hollywood's most popular actors and are well-known for their talents. At the Oscars, the two actors have had a fair share of success. Matt Damon has received five Oscars nomination and won for Best Original Screenplay along with actor, friend and co-writer Ben Affleck for the 1997 film, Good Will Hunting. Christian Bale has also been nominated for four Oscars previously and won the Best Supporting Actor award for the 2010 film, The Fighter.
