As things stand right w, Christopher lan's Tenet has opened in cinemas with encouraging numbers in India. On Friday, its first day of release, film posted a total of Rs.1.2 crores. weekend that followed release saw film collecting 1.4 crores and Rs.1.6 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively. As of this writing, it is being said that film has collected somewhere around Rs.6-7 crores. se numbers could be looked at as encouraging figures given that t all cinemas across India are open as yet and those that have opened doors are operating at 50 per cent capacity. ditionally, a lot of people who would have gone to movies in a pre-pandemic era are reluctant about entering a cinema hall due to current health scenario.
