In interview published on an online portal, Lauren Hissrich revealed that story of Netflix's Witcher is reportedly based on second book of Witcher series titled, Ly of Lake. Reportedly, story of Witcher will be in a n-linear format, inculcating Princess Ciri, Yennefer and Geralt of Rivia's perspective, which was missing in original story that presented only perspective of Geralt of Rivia.
