He gave details of what happened in his caption and revealed he was arrested in Santa Monica with a group of or peaceful protestors. main reason that actor chose to speak about it on social media because he did t want attention from moment to be diverted to him.

He revealed that cops gave m an option to leave and were told that if y refuse to retreat, y would be arrested. Cole Sprouse stated that when people did turn to leave, re was ar line of cops blocking ir way who n started zip locking m. Sprouse stated that his detainment as a straight white man and a public figure was thing in comparison to ors within movement. He added that it is t a narrative about him and said that "this is a time about standing ground near ors as a situation escalates, providing educated support, demonstrating and doing right thing".

Cole Sprouse hoped that cameras that were rolling from Police cruiser during ir detainment would help. He expected ors in his position to do same and stand as an ally at this moment. actor furr said that he won't talk about it anymore and stating reasons for it, he said, "(1) t well versed eugh to do so, (2) t subject of movement, and (3) uninterested in drawing attention away from leaders of #BLM movement".
