Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson welcomes Danny Glover to 'Jumanji' cast

Dwayne Johnson has extended a warm welcome to Danny Glover, who became the latest member to join the cast of the sequel to 'Jumanji'.

Veteran Hollywood actor Danny Glover is all set to star alongside Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Awkwafina and Danny DeVito in  sequel of his upcoming fantasy-adventure film 'Jumanji'. 

Johnson on Wednesday, January 16, welcomed 'Lethal Weapon' actor to cast of  Jake Kasdan's directorial venture. wrestler turned actor, popularly kwn by ring name Rock, penned a heartwarming te for Glover on social media and confirmed that he has joined cast of upcoming venture.

' Rock' took to social media to share his excitement and wrote, "He ain't 'too old for this shit!' Welcome this OG legend and one of my action heroes, Danny Glover to our JUMANJI cast!! magic of our JUMANJI Universe is 'who turns into who?' and I'm excited for our audience to join Danny and our entire cast on ar wild and fun adventure."

Released in December 2017, 'Jumanji: Welcome to Jungle' earned USD 557 million worldwide. It is a sequel to 1995 hit film 'Jumanji', starring Robin Williams. 

Meanwhile, on work front, 'Skyscraper' actor will be next seen in 'Fighting with My Family' and 'Fast and Furious' spin-off venture 'Hobbs & Shaw'. Both films are scheduled to release in 2019. Moreover, actor has also completed shooting for adventure film 'Jungle Cruise' which is all set for a 2020 release.
