Ed Sheeran reveals he was 'third choice' for role in film 'Yesterday'

In a recent conversation with BBC Rio 1's Kids Ask Difficult Questions, Ed Sheeran disclosed that his role in Yesterday was actually written for or artists. y were Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and former One Director member Harry Styles. Sheeran recalled that makers asked Martin to be a part of movie but he declined. y n asked Styles who also said t to project, so, he was third choice for m and he took on job.

Previously, Yesterday director Danny Boyle debunked suggestion that Harry Styles was approached for role. However, he mitted that part was originally created keeping Chris Martin in mind. filmmaker told ABC Rio that Styles was "very good" in Christopher lan film Dunkirk, which was also his big-screen debut. Boyle mentioned that so maybe y would have gone to Harry Styles if Ed Sheeran h said . Sheeran ended up sharing screen with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, as she was seen in a small cameo as a flight attendant.

Ed Sheeran first showed his acting talent in 2014 in soap opera Shortland Street. He n appeared in series like Home and Away, Undateable, Bastard Executioner, and Modern Love. His cameo in Game of Thrones beside Maisie Williams as Arya Stark caught much attention. artist also voiced Brendan in one of Simpsons' episodes.
