El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will drop on October 11, 2019, on Netflix. The film will feature Aaron Paul reprising the role of Jesse Pinkman after 5 years.

Breaking Bad's open ending to Jesse Pinkman's story arch had reportedly left fans hoping for a sixth season. Though Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad had clarified that there will be no sixth season, he had dropped hints about a solo movie about Jesse Pinkman. After years of speculations and rumours, the teaser for El Camino was recently released, featuring Skinny Pete speaking about Jesse Pinkman. The film revolves around Jesse Pinkman coming to terms with his dark past to build a future to some extent.

What is El Camino all about?

The film is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, who helmed all the five seasons of Breaking Bad. The film will reportedly take-off right where Jesse Pinkman was last seen in Breaking Bad's final episode. The film will revolve around Jesse Pinkman's experiences after going through captivity and torture in the final season of the show. The film is set to showcase the journey of Jesse Pinkman from being a survivor to finding a sense of redemption.

El Camino film cast

Aaron Paul is set to reprise the role of Jesse Pinkman in El Camino. Along with Aaron, Charles Baker and Matt Jones will reprise the roles of Skinny Pete and Badger respectively. Skinny Pete and Badger have been the constant company of Jesse Pinkman throughout the entire Breaking Bad series. Jonathan Banks is also set to reprise the role of Mike Ehrmantraut. The film's entire cast has not been revealed as Aaron Paul has stated that the film will be filled with surprises for the fans.

The anticipation for the film has been skyrocketing with fans sharing their excitement through social media posts. Fans have been waiting for a reprisal of the Breaking Bad series ever since the last episode aired on September 29, 2013. The expectations have further been risen due to Vince Gilligan's involvement in the film as a writer and director. El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is all set to be released on Netflix on October 11, 2019.
