Emmy Awards 2020 is just around corner and w producers of show and host Jimmy Kimmel have finally revealed how television’s biggest night will go virtual this year. Emmy producers have finally revealed major details about award ceremony in ir letter to minees. According to letter, producers are trying to bring latest techlogy to forefront to make it memorable for audience as well as virtual attendees.

Emmy Awards to go virtual in 2020

Coronavirus pandemic has slowed down global entertainment industry. Many film and TV shoots have eir been cancelled or have continued with a small crew. Many important events have also gone virtual and avoid spread of virus through an on-ground event. Television’s biggest night a.k.a. Emmy Awards 2020 has also chosen to go virtual this year.

award show producers and this year’s host Jimmy Kimmel have addressed new features of this virtual show in a letter addressed to this year’s minees. According to this letter, as published by Variety, producers and entire award show crew are assembling top-tch tech team to work closely with host Jimmy Kimmel.

letter also mentions that this team of writers, producers, and techies will work alongside minees from ir home or ar location of ir choice. This letter also assured its minees that even if y will t walk red carpet this year, ir top-tch technicians will make ir minees “look fabulous” as y explore “cutting edge of techlogy”. Emmy team is also looking forward to creating some stunning “on-screen moments” with ir minees states letter.

This letter addressed to minees was signed by host Jimmy Kimmel, EPs Reggie Hudlin, Guy Carrington, Ian Stewart, David Jammy, and telecast producer Done+ Dusted. A media portal’s report also states that telecast producers and show producers are still trying to figure out if winners should be informed in advance or will it be telecasted live. But as television producers and EPs work on format of show, y are prioritising safety of ir guests and crew.
