'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore': First reviews of 'Harry Potter' spinoff out

The first reviews of 'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore' are out now. The 'Harry Potter' spinoff series will be releasing in India on April 8, 2022.

early reviews of Fantastic Beasts: Secrets Of Dumbledore have been revealed by critics, with some calling Harry Potter spiff series 'good-natured entertainment'. While many have lauded latest instalment for having an edge over its predecessor, re are claims that it 'lacks much of magic' that ignited people's interest in wizarding world. 

Rotten Tomatoes has given a 60% ‘fresh’ score to film, giving it a much-desirable edge over second one having a 36% score. In its review, site mentioned that film "avoids some of pitfalls that plagued its predecessor, but lacks much of magic that drew audiences into wizarding world many movies ago.”

Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore first reviews 

film received a three-star rating by  Guardian's Peter Brshaw, who ted that re's 'still something weightless and formless' about film's narrative. On or hand, Mirror's Andy Lea, in his review, mentioned, "Thankfully, while still where near as enchanting as a trip to Hogwarts, third Fantastic Beasts film brings some movie magic back to Rowling's Wizarding World.'" Andy also mentioned how Ms Mikkelsen 'delivers a less showy and more creepy' portrayal of Grindewald. 

  Evening Standard's Charlotte O'Sullivan awarded film four stars, hailing JK Rowling's 'risky but rousing experiment'. "Secrets of Dumbledore shows an impressive willingness to mess with HP formula (and formulas in general). It's a work in progress and within a whisker of being fantastic," she wrote.

Deline's Stephanie Bunbury also spoke about quite a few plots of film 'hanging loose' and 'making sense'. "re was an entire chase sequence where I h idea who was doing chasing", Bunbury ded.

Directed by David Yates, film stars  Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and ors. film is set to come out in India on April 8, 2022, while it will hit US atres on April 15.
