Field of dreams is an American sports supernatural drama film written and directed by Phil Alden Robinson and apted WP Kinsella's 1982 novel Shoeless Joe.  film released on April 21, 1989, making this year  32nd year since its release. film revolves around a farmer named Ray Kinsella who builds a baseball field in an ordinary cornfield.

Field of Dreams, which was set in state of Iowa, United States, received three nominations for 1990 Acemy Awards including Best Original Score, Best apted Screenplay, and Best Picture. According to cbs2iowa, site where film was shot is still a tourist attraction in norast Iowa. field is open year-round, while a retail store is open from March to November each year. film also starred some notable names. Kevin Costner as Ray Kinsella

James Earl Jones as Terence Mann

Ray Liotta as Shoeless Joe Jackson

Ray Liotta played character of Shoeless Joe Jackson, de Chicago Black Sox player who inspires Ray to dig up his crops and build baseball field. Ray Liotta has appeared in films like Corrina, Corrina, Cop Land, Blow, Narc, Identity, Smokin Aces, and many more, often preferring to take dark and gritty roles. Liotta is best known for playing Henry Hill in Goodfellas. He also played role of Ray Sinclair in Something Wild, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.

Gaby Hoffmann as Karin Kinsella

Gaby Hoffmann played Karin Kinsella, Ray's daughter who believes her d and can also see de baseball players on field. Gaby Hoffman is best known for her roles in Transparent and Girls, which garnered her three Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Hoffman began her career as a child artist starring in films like Uncle Buck, Now and n, Volcano, All I Wanna Do, and more. actress will next be seen in upcoming drama film, C'mon C'mon alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

Award-winning actor Burt Lancaster appeared as Dr. Archibald "Moonlight" Graham which was his final movie appearance. Anne Seymour h her final film role-playing  kindly Chisholm publisher who helps Ray and Mann. Hollywood actors, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were extras in Fenway Park scene and were teenagers at time.
