The makes of the famous television series, Game of Thrones have announced a prequel of the show. It was earlier announced that a prequel was being made of the series. It was tentatively named as Bloodmoon and The Long Night, which revolved around the white walkers. It was reported that Oscar Nominee Naomi Watts would be starring in the show. However, unconfirmed reports now state that the actress might not be a part of the show. The official Twitter account of the Game of Thrones show has announced another prequel with the tagline ‘Fire will reign.’

The tweet stated that the prequel will revolve around the house Targaryen. The tweet also stated that ‘House of Dragon’ might be the tentative name of the upcoming show. It will be fun to see whom the makers cast in the leading role. In the Game of Thrones series, Welsch actor Wilf Scolding was cast for the role of Rhaegar Targaryen, while the role of his secret wife Lyanna Stark was played by Irish Italian actor Aisling Franciosi. Will it be safe to think that the two will be a part of the upcoming movie as well?

The netizens have already started making speculations about the cast of the show. One Twitter user has even said that the role of Rhaenys Targaryen should be played by Aquaman actor Amber Heard. Rhaenys Targaryen is the youngest sister of Aegon Targaryen 1. Though very little has been announced about the prequel, it has been revealed that the series will be co-created by George R. R Martin and Ryan Condal. The pilot episode of the series will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik and Condal. Condal will also write the series. It now seems to be seen what the new show has in store for them.
