Here's why Marvel Studios replaced Thanos' actor after 'The Avengers'
Marvel replaced the initial actor who played the role of Thanos and went to cast Josh Brolin. Here is the main reason why they changed the cast. Find out.

Marvel did t leave any stone unturned to entertain its fans and bring forward ir comic stories to life via movies. In quest of making great films to satisfy audience, many characters were recast in Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Thas. Initially, character of ' M Titan' was t played by Josh Brolin until superhero venture movie, Guardians of Galaxy was released.
Thas appeared in MCU arc from multi starrer movie, Avengers, in mid-post-credit scene. MCU started back in 2008 with Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man, and has since produced 22 films, with Spider-Man: Far From Home closing Infinity Saga. However, supervillain did t appear as a villain in earlier movies until Avengers: Infinity War where he snatched all infinity stones, mounted m on Gauntlet and wiped out half of life in universe with snap of his fingers.

Why did Marvel recast Thas?
character of Thas was initially played by Damion Poitier in Avengers. Unlike or cases within MCU, recasting Thas h thing to do with conflicts with actor or ir schedules, and it was inste a creative decision. moviemakers decided to tease Thas in post-credit scenes but due to Infinity being at an opening st, re was one to cast. Just to take time to cast a right personality for villaius role, Marvel took its time. Meanwhile, to tease fans in credit scenes, Poitier was signed. However, later Damion Poitier was also in Crossbones Mercenaries.

Later, Josh Brolin was cast for role and he picked up character of Thas so well. w, it hard to imagine someone else as M Titan. Marvel's editing team me sure that difference between appearance of old and new Thas is cut down to a minimum. MCU's recast did d more charm to ir incredible franchise.
