Duff took to Instagram to post her appeal to Disney, saying she remains passionate about project but she believes re is a “huge responsibility” on makers to create a show that will feel more “auntic” to fans.
“I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting realities of a 30 year old’s journey to live under ceiling of a PG rating. It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/teenr navigating life were auntic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable.
