Amy ams 

Amy ams portrays role of Bev Vance, JD Vance's mor, a drug dict. famous Hollywood actor looks completely different in this film as opposed to her or roles. Vice actor has been nominated six times for Oscar and is a two time Golden Globes award winner for films, American Hustle and Big Eyes. Amy also won acclaim for her leing role in Disney's Enchanted, where she showed off her incredible singing skills. Her well-known movies include Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Muppets, Her, Catch Me If You Can and Night at Museum: Battle of Smithsonian.

Glenn Close 

Hillbilly Elegy characters include Mamaw Vance, played by Glenn Close. She portrayed role of JD's grandmor in film, who has a no-nonsense attitude. Glenn is a very well known face in Hollywood, having won three Emmy awards, three Tonys, and three Golden Globe Awards. Her popular films include  World According to Garp, Big Chill, Fatal Attraction, Natural and Dangerous Liaisons.

Gabriel Basso

Gabriel plays titular role of JD Vance and is protagonist of film. Gabriel Basso is best known for his prominent role in JJ. Abrams' Super 8. He also starred in  Kings of Summer, Ithaca, Barely Lethal, Anatomy of a Tide and Meet Bill. Basso has also appeared in television shows like Haunting Hour and Middle. 

Haley Bennett 

Haley's character in film is that of Lindsay Vance, who is JD's sister and Bev's daughter. Bennet starred in this year's acclaimed thriller, Swallow, where she also served as an executive producer. Her famous films include  Magnificent Seven, Hardcore Henry, Kaboom, Equalizer, College and Girl on Train.

Freida Pinto
