International Emmy Awards 2023: Shefali Shah, Vir Das and Jim Sarbh secure nominations
Shefali Shah and Jim Sarbh received nominations in acting categories for Delhi Crime and Rocket Boys, respectively, Vir Das for his comedy special Landing.

Actors Shefali Shah, Jim Sarbh and Vir Das have secured minations for 2023 International Emmy Awards, International Acemy of Television Arts & Sciences anunced on Tuesday.
While Shah and Sarbh received minations in acting categories for ir shows "Delhi Crime" and "Rocket Boys", respectively, Das landed a d for his Netflix comedy special "Landing".

Shah, 50, is minated in best performance by an actress category for second season of critically acclaimed Netflix series. first season of "Delhi Crime" h won International Emmy for best drama series in 2020, first ever for India.
"I can't find words to describe what I'm feeling. 'Delhi Crime' is such a special project to me. While first season of show brought home award in 2020, being minated in Best Actress category for 'Delhi Crime' season two is just overwhelming," she said in a statement.

In category, Shah is minated alongside Connie Nielsen for Danish series "Drommeren", Billie Piper for British show "I Hate Suzie Too" and Karla Souza for Mexican series "La Caida".
Sarbh has received a d in best performance by an actor category for playing nuclear physicist Homi Bhabha, regarded as Far of India’s nuclear programme, in "Rocket Boys". SonyLIV series is created by filmmaker Nikkhil vani.

"I am overwhelmed and excited to be minated under best actor category at International Emmy Awards for my portrayal of Dr Homi Bhabha in 'Rocket Boys'. It is an hour to be recognised amongst such talented individuals from across world," 36-year-old actor said in a statement.
"This mination is a testament to hard-working, dedicated, and extremely talented cast and crew, who brought incredible story of Dr. Sarabhai and Dr. Bhabha to life. I loved working on 'Rocket Boys', a project that salutes India’s scientists, artists, and leers, pioneers of a newly bird nation," he ded.

Sarbh will face competition from Gustavo Bassani of "Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido" (Argentina), British actor Martin Freeman for " Responder" and Jonas Karlsson for Swedish series "Nattryttarna".
Das' stand-up special "Landing" is minated in comedy category. or minees are "Derry Girls" season three from UK, "El Encargo" from Argentina and French show "Le Flambeau" season two.

44-year-old actor-comic said receiving an International Emmy mination is an "incredible hour".
"To be a comedy special from India minated against massive TV shows from across globe in a category like comedy. I’m just very gl to be able to represent India, Indian comedy and Indian stand up. This ride has been crazy and I'm so thankful for everyone who me this happen - my hardworking team, and of course, Netflix India for putting 'Vir Das: Landing' on map," Das ded.
International Emmy Awards ceremony will be held in New York City on vember 20.
ceremony will also see film producer Ektaa R Kapoor being houred with Directorate Award for her "trailblazing career and impact on Indian television landscape".
