Netflix's Billion Dollar Code is an upcoming mini-series based on true events that take fans back to 90s, to beginnings of digital world. Directed by Henner Besuch, series is inspired by true story of Winklevoss brors, who would be creators of algorithm behind Google Earth.
mini-series features Lavinia Wilson, Mark Waschke, Mišel Matičević, Leonard Scheicher, Seumas F. Sargent, and Marius Ahrendt in pivotal roles.

Is Billion Dollar Code a true story?
plot of upcoming Netflix series Billion Dollar Code is inspired by actual story from 1990s. Back in time, two German developers, Winklevoss brors h created a 1994 Terravision and fought for years for recognition as owners of algorithm used in Google Earth. ART+ COM h accused giant of patent infringement since system of Google Earth was very similar to algorithm invented by two brors.
two brors went to go court to defend ir rights as original creators of Google Earth algorithm. upcoming mini-series follows all incidents from post-reunification Berlin hacker scene in 1990s to optimistic world of early Silicon Valley and harsh reality of a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

Talking about mini-series, showrunner Oliver Ziegenbalg told German outlet SerienJunkies.de, ‘As a filmmaker you always long to find this one truly incredible story that has never been told. And suddenly it is re. And those who told it h no idea how big it is. Because great thing is that story of Terravision not only tells something about inventors and ir incredible struggle for justice but also about entire Internet age and digitization of our world, from naive beginnings to what has become of it today."
Billion Dollar code release date and time
makers have also unveiled trailer of upcoming series which is said to be a narrative about a lifelong relationship, loyalty, and challenge of justice in digital era. Edited by Stefan Kobe and Anja Siemens, with music by Uwe Bossenz and Anton Feist, series will be available exclusively from Thursday 7th October 2021 on Netflix. You will be able to watch four episodes of fiction from 9:01 a.m.
