White Tiger narrates an underdog story through lens of Balram Halwai (arsh Gourav), a member of servant class navigating his way to top as he faces pressures of being born as a low caste. story pays heed to a number of socio-ecomic issues like corruption, greed of riches, crooked caste system that is still prevalent in country today. vel has received many accoles and movie is expected to receive same treatment.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Aravind iga revealed that White Tiger is t a true story but was inspired by lives of many working-class people. He revealed that he would hang out around stations a lot and strike conversations with rickshaw pullers to kw how y live ir lives. Right from ir mannerisms to ir struggles, iga seems to have researched thoroughly before delivering his remarkable work.

White Tiger is centred on Balram Halwai, who is introduced to viewers as a narrator, as he begins to pen down his story of rags to riches to Chinese politician Wen Jiabao on occasion of his visit to India. But after a night of betrayal from his Master, Balram has choice but to rebel against unjust caste system and rise up as 'White Tiger'.
