According to reports, Jason Momoa starrer has alrey blasted past 189 million dollars in country. At this rate, it is easily expected to defeat 'Vem', and 'Avengers: of Ultron', which minted 270 million and 240 million dollars respectively. If it mans to achieve this feat, it will become second highest grossing Hollywood flick in China, just behind 'Avengers: Infinity War' which minted 360 million dollars. In terms of global collections, James Wan directorial has earned 260 million dollars worldwide and is expected to cross 300 mark before film's US release. 

Positive reviews from critics at premieres and general good word of mouth from audience has ensured that film enjoys such good earnings in a week's time. flick also enjoys a pretty decent rating on Rotten Tomatoes where it stands at 70 per cent. It is also being touted as one of best DC films to grace screens since Gal Got's 'Wonder Woman'.
