Hollywood actor Jennifer Aniston has been minated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series at Emmy Awards. On Tuesday morning, Emmy Awards minations anuncement was made and Jennifer Aniston’s show Morning Show received eight minations. Jennifer Aniston got minated at Emmy 2020 for 1st time in 11 years for  Morning Show.

Jennifer Aniston, 51, is recognised for her role as a TV anchor named Alex Levy in drama series Morning Show which is aired on Apple TV+. Aniston was last minated by Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2009. Television Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is body that runs awards.

Aniston was last minated 11 years ago under category of Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series after she played role of Claire on popular show, 30 Rock. Jennifer Aniston had a cameo in show which starred Alec Baldwin as well as Tina Fey. Her character Claire has a fling with Alec Baldwin’s character Jack Donaghey.

Jennifer Aniston has been minated for prime-time Emmy Awards seven times. In 2002, Jennifer Aniston won prime-time Emmy Award for her iconic role of Rachel Green on sitcom, FRIENDS. She was minated under category Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series that year.

Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram account and posted about being excited about Emmy Award minations. She shared a few BTS pictures from Morning Show and stated that she is proud of team for making a great show. She went on to say that she is houred to be a part of show and congratulated everyone who has been minated for prestigious awards.

Morning Show's Emmy Award's minations list

Morning Show has been minated under eight categories at Emmy Awards. Aniston is minated for award under category Outstanding Actress – Drama, while her co-star Steve Carell is minated under  category Outstanding Actor – Drama. Morning Show Director Mini Leder is minated for Outstanding Director – Drama category, while Mark Duplass has been minated for Outstanding Supporting Actor – Drama. Martin Short, who made a guest appearance on show, has also been minated under Outstanding Guest Actors – Drama category.
