Jennifer Aniston said that a 'Friends' movie is unlikely to happen as the producers are least interested even though she and other lead actors are willing.

American actress Jennifer Aniston said that a Friends movie is unlikely to happen as the producers are not interested. Aniston, who played Rachel Green in the epic show, revealed that even though she and her co-stars would want to get together for the big project, the makers won't let it happen. The show that completed 25 years is a favourite among the audience and the fans have insisted the show makers for its big-screen adaption. Another famous show from the 90s Sex and The City went on to have its film franchise but Friends did not see the same fate.

'Producers wouldn't want it'
In an interview with a magazine, the 50-yer old actress was asked why her popular sitcom did not turn into a movie. She replied saying Because our producers wouldn't want it, wouldn't let us. Look, it's not been without our desire to, because our fans have wanted it so much". The first episode of Friends aired on September 22 in the year 1994 and it continued to run for 10 seasons till 2004. Aniston was then asked if at any point the six main actors planned to do a film based on Friends. The actress replied to the question saying, "It depends. I mean, we haven't all sat in a room. But would we have loved to have done something together? Yeah. It would have been fun". She then added, "We could have redesigned it for a couple episodes. But whatever. Maybe it's better this way, but we'll never know".

Jennifer Aniston makes Instagram debut
The Friends star cast is celebrating the silver jubilee of the show with their reunions. Jennifer Aniston surprised fans recently by joining the popular social media platform Instagram. The first picture on her account is of a recent reunion of the six lead actors of the NBC series. She posted a selfie where she and co-stars Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are in the frame. She even wrote a caption with the picture saying that now all of them are Instagram friends too. Many famous celebrities have welcomed the Marley & Me actress to the photo-sharing app. Within a few hours, the Hollywood star received 6.2 million followers.
