Jennifer Lopez starrer 'Hustlers' is currently facing legal troubles as the inspiration behind one of the film's character has accused the makers of defamation.

Jennifer Lopez starrer Hustlers created a lot of buzz when it came out. Receiving an aver critical response, but getting uproar of appreciation by general audience members, it allowed film to have a successful run at box office earning over $150 million at global box office.
Jennifer Lopez's performance became stand-out performance from film which garnered her praise and recognition during awards season too. Just recently, she bagged award for Best Supporting Actress by LA film critics association. But, Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu starrer film has w landed into legal trouble.

Hustlers sued for $40 million
A federal lawsuit in Manhattan federal court has been filed over production houses involved with Hustlers. This also includes Jennifer Lopez's production house Nuyorican Productions. Or production houses involved include STX Entertainment, Gloria Sanchez Productions and Pole Sisters LLC.

Back in September when Hustlers was viewed by Samantha, she had stated that she was t at all impressed by film. She was soured much more by sequences where Jennifer's character is seen using and preparing drugs in same house where she lived with her child.
Samantha had cleared it as film came out that she never used drugs in her life, let alone using m in front of her child. She also wishes for judge to issue an injunction to stop film from furr distribution. ne of production houses involved with Hustlers have come forward and issued a statement yet.
