American singer, actor and businesswoman Jennifer Lopez has recreated trend with her iconic green dress that led to invention of Google ims. First worn by Lopez in February 2000, Versace green dress, according to Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, stimulated invention of google ims because it led to many people searching about dress after Lopez wore it to Grammy award show.

According to Schmidt, foot of Lopez modelling modern version of dress at Versace's S/S 2020 show has been viewed more than a record-breaking two million times on social media.

She made thousands of fans and viewers revisit memories after she brought back dress at Friday's show, at Milan Fashion Week. According to vogue, final few models in show walked up to ramp, modelling at Lopez’s song ‘Love don’t cost a thing’. Subsequently, a mont of Google Im searches for original Grammy's dress was projected on to walls and presented as a tribute to dress from 2000. Imitating a random voice calling out Alexa, somebody from behind st anunced, "OK, Google. w show me real dress." Immediately after, Hollywood actor and singer walked in amidst great cheering.

According to sources, Google started with just text initially but co-founders Larry P and Sergey Brin later decided to start with Google ims because y felt that people needed more than just motous text.
