Jimmy Kimmel is one of the most popular and noted American television host, comedian, writer and producer and he celebrates his 52nd birthday on November 13. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on American television network ABC in January 2003. In India, the talk show airs on Star World. 1. I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy
Jimmy Kimmel makes great use of his social media presence, which also includes the video streaming platform YouTube. Every year, Jimmy holds the annual YouTube Challenge and for one of the challenges, he asked parents to send him videos where they tell their kids that they ate all of their Halloween candy. The responses the kids gave varied falling down screaming and crying to disappointed acceptance. It may have seemed mean, but it was nonetheless cute and funny.
2. The Friends Reunion
In 2014, the iconic American sitcom, Friends, celebrated its 20th anniversary. To celebrate that, Jimmy Kimmel hosted actor Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel in Friends, on the show and he got her to listen to some fan fiction that he wrote. The segment was picturised on a recreation of Friends' set and also feature cameo appearances by two other actors from the show, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. Needless to say, it was a hilarious and nostalgic sketch.
3. Rihanna pranks Jimmy Kimmel
One of the funniest videos is of American musician Rihanna pranking Jimmy Kimmel in his house. This happened on April Fool's Day, 2015, and it involved Rihanna sneaking into his bedroom late night and waking him up to the tune of one of her popular songs. Rihanna did mention that she loves him and his talk show and that she wanted to prank him in a light-hearted manner.
4. Lie Witness News - Coachella 2013
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the most popular music festivals in the United States. For the 2013 edition, Jimmy Kimmel conducted a prank where he got a reporter to the event and ask people if they knew the names of bands which he made up. And the attendees fell for it! With names like The Chelsea Clintons and The Obesity Epidemic, it was honestly surprising that no one figured out that it was a joke.
