American actor-producer Joaquin Phoenix awaiting the release of his much-anticipated film 'Joker', has already bagged his next role in an untitled drama.

American actor-producer Joaquin Phoenix, who has been awaiting release of his much-anticipated film Joker, has alrey bagged his next role in an untitled drama. Phoenix will feature in indie filmmaker writer-director Mike Mills’ next. production of film begins this fall which will reportedly land to A24. As production commences this fall, it will be first film Phoenix shoots after his tour-de-force performance in Todd Phillips-directed Joker. film will be produced by Chelsea Barnard, Lila Yacoub and Andrea Longacre-White.

Mills indie filmmaker
Kwn for independent films like 20th Century Women and Beginners, Mike Mills was minated for an Acemy Award for Best Original Screenplay for former. Mills directorial debut was Thumbsucker in 2005 for which he also created posters. Born in Berkeley, California, Mills also directed several music videos including Moby, Yoko O and Air.

Todd Phillips revealed that Phoenix would sometimes walkout from set in middle of a scene while shooting for ‘Joker’. He also said that y h several creative but fruitful differences over character. "In middle of scene, he'll just walk away and walk out. And poor or actor thinks it's m and it was never m, it was always him, and he just wasn't feeling it," he told an American newspaper.
