Joker actor Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck who used to be close friends and got identical tattoos together have stopped talking to each other, Phoenix says

As per reports, 'Joker' actor Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck who used to be close friends and got identical tattoos toger have stopped talking to each or. Phoenix has said that he stopped talking to Affleck many years ago. two actors first met on set of 1995 film 'To Die For' and used to live in same building in New York.

Phoenix: Stopped talking to him

Reports suggest that Casey Affleck was married to Phoenix's sister Summer Phoenix from 2006 to 2017.  In an interview, 'Joker' actor revealed that he is t in touch with Affleck for many years w. He said that his sister and he separated and have t spoken to him (Casey) directly or indirectly since three or four years w. two were last seen in movie I'm Still Here which was a mockumentary film under direction of Affleck that had a cartoon version of Phoenix. 

Two sexual harassment cases were reportedly filed against Affleck in 2010 by two women who worked with him in 'I'm Still Here'. Affleck has refuted all charges levelled against him and has opted for an out of court settlement for a concealed amount. He and accusers are t permitted to divulge details of case.

Phoenix likewise did t discuss sexual misconduct charges, Phoenix meanwhile is on speculation market for an Oscar award for his role in movie 'Joker.'

About 'Joker'

In film Joker, Phoenix plays role of Arthur Fleck, a man who gradually becomes main rival to Batman. On October 3rd, Phoenix and film's director Todd Philips astounded fans at  New York City premiere of 'Joker.'  Although film has received ire for its depiction of violence, John DeVore who is editor in chief of 'Humungus' and has seen film has reportedly remarked that audience stood and gave actor and director a standing ovation after movie screening. Phoenix was happy as he and filmmaker told audience that it was ir first screening of movie night.

editor later said that audience was thrilled to see both of m and y seemed to love movie and he doubts wher Philips and Phoenix could have received a warmer welcome. 'Joker' tells a different take on comic book villain's origin story and follows story of an aspiring stand-up comedian whose mental health issues escalated and gradually leading him to live a life of a criminal. film also stars  Robert De Niro, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
