After four days of mediation sessions, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have finally reached a temporary agreement regarding their daughters. The former couple, who announced their separation on September 6, have two daughters - Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1. Since separation, they have been in constant discussion over the custody of their kids.

The former couple have agreed to share the custody of their daughters equally between the US and UK until early 2024. According to the documents obtained by PEOPLE, from October 9 to 21, the children will be with Sophie in England. After 21, the children will be with the singer until November 2. Jonas or the nanny will return the kids to Turner on November 2, where they will stay until November 22. The kids then return to Jonas from November 22 to December 16 and will seemingly spend the holidays with Turner to January 7.
After the reports of the temporary settlement, the former couple issued a statement informing them about their decision. The statement read, “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the USA and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents.”

The mediation has come after the actress filed a lawsuit against the 34-year-old singer demanding “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,” and alleged that the “wrongful retention” started on September 20. As per reports, the divorce filing stated that the former couple had a prenup and asked for a parenting plan for continuous contact with both parents.
