The blockbuster movie Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker has broken all the records and its success seems unstoppable. In another achievement, Joker received Golden Frog Award for best cinematography at the Energa Camerimage Festival in Torun, Poland on November 16.
Joker bagged Golden Frog Award
Lawrence Sher, who bagged the prize for the best cinematographer for Joker, received the award and shared his experience of making the movie, which was initially supposed to be shot on 70mm. According to the International media, the movie also bagged the Audience Award for best cinematography. Joker has been breaking a record and also won the Golden Lion award this year at the Venice Film Festival. Following Joker, the popular The Two Popes received the Silver Frog Award for its cinematography done by Uruguayan DP Cesar Charlone.

Joker to reach a mark of $1 billion
The Joker juggernaut carries on as the latest DC-flick continues its impressive hold in domestic and in its overseas markets. The Joaquin Phoenix film also raked in impressive numbers in India as it recently passed Rs. 67 crores in the country. In spite of facing stiff competition from Bollywood biggies like Housefull 4, Joker became Warner Bros.'s most successful movie among the Indian audience. The film is now placed 14th in the list of top Hollywood grosses at the Indian box office. According to Box Office Mojo report, Joker has collected over $986 million worldwide and is expected to reach the coveted $1 billion mark sometime this week.

The film's primary subjects of psychological instability and its relationship to brutality have made theatres and law authorisation stress over the message 'Joker' is sending. ‘Joker’ also included a new interpretation of the comic book character's original story pursues a yearning stand-up entertainer called Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) whose escalating mental issues lead him to criminality. The film is being appreciated and there are rumors getting ‘Joker’ getting nominated for Oscars after winning the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival's top award. 'Joker' likewise got eight-minute overwhelming applause at its Venice Film Festival debut.
