According to reports from a media portal, if this performance by DC’s villain movie continues then the film will also break the global box-office collection record of one of the highest-grossing Warner Bros. films. Christopher Nolan directed The Dark Knight which was released in 2008 raked in $100.4 billion in its global collection. So chances Joker taking over this Batman flick are also present. Joker prior to its release had to deal with major issues in regards to violent content.  Before the release of the film, several areas had tight security regarding any violent activity under the influence of the film’s character or resulting in another incident similar to the Colorado shooting. But this resulted in negative publicity for this Todd Philips’ directed film. The negative publicity of the film Joker led to an increase in the curiosity regarding the origin of this DC comic book villain. Thus further contributing to the film’s box-office collections.
