Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny Come Onboard Daniel Craig Starrer Knives Out 3

Challengers star Josh O'Conr and Civil War star Cailee Spaeny have boarded cast of third Knives Out movie, fronted by Daniel Craig. Last week, it was anunced that filmmaker Rian Johnson and Craig are reuniting for Wake Up De Man: A Knives Out Mystery, follow-up to 2022's Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. third murder mystery movie in series will arrive on Netflix in 2025.

According to Hollywood Reporter, O'Conr and Spaeny will join Craig, who is set to reprise his role of famed detective Beit Blanc in third film in popular franchise. Wake Up De Man: A Knives Out Myster" promises to be ar thrilling and intricate mystery to unravel, building on success of its predecessors, makers previously said.

A look at Knives Out franchise thus far

first film, released in 2019, featured Beit Blanc as a private investigator who investigates death of velist Harlan Thrombey (played by late Christopher Plumber) with all of his family as part of suspect list. Ana de Armas tably gave a breakout performance as nurse Marta Cabrera in film which also featured Chris Evans among ors.

Following its box office and critical success, Netflix took over franchise from MRC and Lionsgate. Johnson and Craig returned for standalone second part of 2022's Glass Onion, which got a limited atrical release before premiering on streamer.

second film sees Beit Blanc make his way to private Greek Island of tech billionaire Miles Bron (played by Edward rton) as he decodes a mystery game gone wrong. second film featured a fresh ensemble cast of Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Edward rton, Melyn Cline, Dave Bautista and Kathryn Hahn. Wake Up De Man is set to premiere on Netflix next year.
