Katy Perry is about to perform live in Mumbai city in the coming week. Here are a few other western singers and Hollywood stars who have visited India before.

The beloved songwriter and pop singer Katy Perry is about to visit India on November 16, 2019. She will be arriving at Mumbai for a concert where she will perform alongside popular British singer Dua Lipa. This will be the first time that Katy will be performing in the city of Mumbai and Indian fans of Katy are extremely excited to see their favourite singer performing live. Katy is not the first Western celebrity/singer to visit India. Here are a few other singers and Hollywood celebrities who have visited India prior to Perry.
Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber is perhaps the most well-known singer across the globe. The Canadian singer made his visit to India as a part of his Purpose World Tour on May 10, 2017. He performed live at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai in front of over 50 thousand people. However, Justin's concert in India was marred with controversy after fans realized that Justin was only lipsyncing and not singing. At one point Justin even wiped his face with a towel while the music and vocals still played in the background.
Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is another popular singer who visited the city of Mumbai for a concert. Ed Sheeran's concert took place on November 19, 2017, at the Jio Garden in BKC, Mumbai. The singer was wearing a blue kurta during his performance. Before Ed got on stage, the American musician Lauv performed some of his hit songs on stage. After Lauv, Ed entered the state and started his performance by singing his popular song Castle on the Hill. The concert was a huge success for the artists as well as for the fans who enjoyed the live show from their favourite singer.
Leonardo DiCaprio

The critically acclaimed, academy award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio made a secret visit to India sometime in December of 2015. Reportedly, the actor came to India to shoot for a documentary on climate change and he also apparently visited the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE). But his visit was not all work as Leonardo took some time off to visit the beautiful Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
