Lady Gaga to re-release studio album 'Artpop' without R Kelly's song

Popstar Lady Gaga has reportedly reduced the number of songs in her studio album 'Artpop' after sexual harassment allegations against R&B singer Kelly surfaced.

Popstar Lady Gaga has reportedly reduced number of songs in her studio album 'Artpop' after sexual harassment allegations against R&B singer Kelly surfaced. Kelly's track 'Do What U Want' has been removed from her album, reports confirmed. Lady Gaga apologized for her collaboration with Kelly and is said to be re-releasing a new version of entire album, striking track altoger.

Due to sexual harassment allegations against Kelly, all her songs have been removed from all music streaming platforms and digital downloading sites. However, this version will t be featured in re-release but will still stand as a single.

singer tweeted in January that track was produced during a dark time in her life and she’s extremely sorry to her listeners. In lengthy social media post, 'A Star Is Born' singer, who collaborated with Kelly in year 2013 recorded duet tracks, 'Do What U Want (With My Body)', expressing her sympathy with alleged victims.

In her Instagram post singer wrote, "I stand behind se women 1000%, believe m, kw y are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that ir voices should be heard and taken seriously. What I am hearing about allegations against R Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible,"

Or artists also remove Kelly's tracks

Lady Gaga reportedly added that being a victim of sexual assault herself, she had made both song and video at a very dark time in her life. She also added that her intention was to make something defiant and provocative because she was extremely enrd and was dealing with her anxiety.

Lady Gaga isn't only one quitting singer’s tracks. Chance Rapper also removed 'Somewhere in Paradise' from all streaming platforms after release of 'Surviving R. Kelly', a docuseries focused on women that suffered alleged sexual, mental and physical abuse at hands of Kelly.

Kelly has been accused of sexual abuse and misconduct by multiple women over past two decades. However, accusations against 52-year-old singer resurfaced in wake of recent documentary series 'Surviving R. Kelly' that chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behaviour, and paedophilia against him.
