Lashana Lynch revealed about battling online abuse by fans when she was announced as the 'New 007' in James Bond's new movie 'No Time To Die'.

Actor Lashana Lynch revealed that she received a barr of online abuse after she revealed that she will be playing nt 007 in upcoming James Bond movie Time To Die. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, new trailer of film revealed that Lashana Lynch’s character mi assumes 007 monikers in absence of Daniel Craig’s iconic secret nt who will be shown living in exile in Jamaica.

However, it is unclear on who will succeed outgoing Daniel Craig as fictitious British spy for furr installments. Hardcore fans of franchise were upset that a Black woman is chosen to fill in as nt 007. Captain Marvel star revealed during an interview with Harper Bazaar that she deleted her social media apps, meditated and saw one but family to overcome abuse she faced after trailer launch. She said that she is a black woman and if it were ar Black woman cast in role it would have been same conversation and she would have got same attacks, same abuse.

Lynch revealed that she collaborated with film's co-writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge to successfully pull off her character as she wanted it to be subtly drawn, believable, perhaps even a little awkward.

She said her character is too slick and cast-iron figure and that’s completely against what she stands for. She did t want to waste an opportunity when it came to what mi might represent. Lynch ded that character will come across as auntic to Black audiences who will sure root for her. She said she searched for at least one moment in script where Black audience members would d ir hes, tutting at reality but she is gl to see ir real-life represented.
