Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet: The best friends in Hollywood?

Leonardo DiCaprio is celebrating his 45th birthday on November 11. The actor is known for his excellent acting and his constant efforts towards the betterment of the environment. Leonardo shares a beautiful friendship with many other Hollywood actors. One of his closest friends is his co-actor from the movie Titanic, Kate Winslet. 

Leo and Kate's friendship:

The two actors met on the sets of Titanic. Over the course of the shooting of this tragic movie, Leonardo and Kate became close friends. In an interview with an entertainment news portal, Kate shared that she used to send pictures of herself as she lay on snow-covered ice with the caption, 'Thinking of you'. She also added that Leonardo used to send worried emojis back to her, as he was scared for her to be working in such a freezing environment.

The two reunited for the movie Revolutionary Road in the year 2008. Their dynamic chemistry was a hit once again as the movie collected $75 million at the box office and was also nominated for the Oscars. While speaking about their chemistry, Winslet shared that she didn't realise that their chemistry from Titanic would stick, but it was great to see that the two could slip back into it.

Kate Winslet had won a Golden Globe in the year 2009 for Revolutionary Road. Kate, while accepting the award, talked about how Leonardo is one of the two most important men in her life. She also said that she was so happy that she could thank Leonardo for his love and friendship. Leonardo, in response, sent a flying kiss towards her direction.

The year 2016 proved to be very successful for Leonardo as he managed to grab an Oscar award for his movie The Revenant.
