Hollywood News: It’s been only a few days since the introduction of new members in the rock and roll band Linkin Park and it is now in the headlines for several reasons. The American music group's former member Chester Bennington’s son Jamie has revealed that he has been receiving death threats.

Linkin Park is back with a bang. Recently, two new members were warmly welcomed by fans who showered them with love. But, recently, the former member of the group, Chester Bennigton’s son Jamie has expressed on social media that he has been receiving constant death threats. The reason behind this is Jamie criticising the band for their decision to hire lead singer Emily Armstrong to replace Chester, who is no more. 

He said, “All these people come over to me and go, ‘You don’t know what your dad would think. You’re coming over to my posts and my livestreams and telling me to kill myself, that I’m awful, that my father doesn’t appreciate me. What are you talking about? You didn’t give a fuck when he died. If you did, you would understand what the problem is. You would understand why this is all wrong. I do because I’m his kid.”

Jamie further shared a post that read, “He will be attending Linkin Park’s first comeback show set," but also he is not sure who might recognise him and act aggressively. He also added that he is grieving and needs some closure after his dad’s death 7 years ago. In a follow-up post he warned, “If anything happens to me or my partner while we are attending this concert it is on @linkinpark."

After the reveal of Emily Armstrong as part of the band Linkin Park, the lead singer faced backlash from the netizens. This is because of her connection with actor Danny Masterson, his ties with the Church of Scientology and her past support of the convicted rapist. The vocalist even clarified about this on Instagram.
