Martin Scorsese criticises Marvel films again while promoting his next
Martin Scorsese once again criticised the Marvel movies saying they are not the real cinema and asked the theatres to show films that have more narrative

American-Italian filmmaker Martin Scorsese once again criticised Marvel Cinematic Universe during a press conference for his upcoming Netflix flick Irishman. He said that such films do t capture actual essence of cinema. He furr added to his comments saying that Marvel films are t real cinema and asked atres to show films that have more of narrative, as reported by foreign media. In past too director has criticised superhero films which make it big at box-office. legendary filmmaker is under attack by supporters for comparing Marvel films to 'me parks'.

'atres have become amusement parks'
76-year-old filmmaker spoke about Marvel Cinematic Universe during a press conference ahead of screening of Irishman at BFI London Film Festival, alongside actors of his film, Robert De Niro, and Al Paci. Scorsese feels that atres have become more of amusement parks.
"atres have become amusement parks. That is all fine and good but don't invade everything else in that sense," he said. filmmaker n said, "It's t cinema, it's something else. We shouldn't be invaded by it. We need cinemas to step up and show films that are narrative films." He n added that it is good for ones who like watching such types of films and he also admires kwing what goes in making of se movies. However, he said that such films are t his kind as it is creating a different type of audience who just thinks that cinema is all about this.

Scorsese slammed for his statement
Earlier this month too he spoke about MCU films in an interview. He said, "I don't see m. I tried, you kw? But that's t cinema," he told outlet. "Honestly, closest I can think of m, as well made as y are, with actors doing best y can under circumstances, is me parks. It isn't cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to ar human being," he added.
comments were t well received by director of Guardians of Galaxy, James Gunn. In a tweet, he said that Scorsese is being hypocritical to judge a film before even watching it. Avengers director Joss Whedon, along with actors Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson slammed director.
