Legendary filmmaker Martin Socrsese is t a fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as he feels movies don't serve purpose of cinema and are rar a me park venture. Scorsese said he has seen some of Marvel Studios projects and found m lacking on "emotional and psychological experiences".
"I don't see m. I tried, you kw? But that's t cinema. Honestly, closest I can think of m, as well me as y are, with actors doing best y can under circumstances, is me parks. It isn't cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to ar human being," director told Empire magazine. Filmmakers James Gunn and Joss Whedon, who have been at helm of various MCU projects, reacted to Scoresese's comments.
"I was outrd when people picketed ' Last Temptation of Christ' without having seen film. I'm sdened that he's w judging my films in same way," Gunn posted on Twitter. That said, I will always love Scorsese, be grateful for his contributions to cinema, and can't wait to see ' Irishman'," "Guardians of Galaxy" director ded.

Whedon, who has worked on " Avengers" and "Avengers: of Ultron", also took to microblogging site to express his displeasure over veteran filmmaker's remarks. "I first think of @JamesGunn, how his heart & guts are packed into GOTG. I revere Marty, & I do see his point, but...," he tweeted alongside a link to Scorsese's interview. "Well re's a reason why 'I'm always angry'," he ded. Peter Ramsey, director of "Spider-Man: Into Spider-Verse", said Scorsese is a "God", but "Marvel movies are fun and good. Chill".
