Although the Super Bowl itself doesn’t garner much interest in these parts of the world, what catches most people’s attention is the sheer spectacle behind the whole event. From pre-game shows to halftime shows, The US Bank stadium — home of the Minnesota Vikings — was literally lit on Sunday. But for millions of viewers watching it on TV across the world, there are more to look forward to. The Trailers! And this year too, a bunch of trailers and TV spots were released during the commercial break and we have got them all sorted for you right here -
Mission Impossible: Fallout
Ethan Hunt is back and how! The famous super spy is back in his famous role for the sixth time and the trailer looks fabulous, to begin with. The iconic soundtrack of the movie, which literally leaves people humming it for ages, gets a new twist and that too a good one. The entire trailer looks action packed and it is just two and a half minutes long. We see a surprise appearance by Superman Henry Cavill along with the regulars. All we can say is, we cannot wait. Solo: A Star Wars Story
Ever since Disney and Lucas Films announced the spinoff we have all been waiting for, Star Wars fans couldn’t wait to witness how all the characters would pan out in Solo. The movie which showcases the story of Han Solo, one of the very famous characters in the original Star Wars movie, played by Harrison Ford is slated for a summer 2018 release. Although the trailer is only going to be released on Monday, they teased their illustrious characters including Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Okay! Now, this trailer got all the right things hyped up about it. From the classic Jurassic Park movies, this one has surely come a long way. The Dinosaurs look scarier and more magnanimous and the overall eerie feel is surely there. We don’t want to say much about it, because the trailer is bound to leave you spellbound.
The Cloverfield Paradox
Here’s where the surprise is, Netflix has announced that the new Cloverfield movie will premiere right after the Super Bowl in its streaming site and that’s a pleasant surprise. Although the 30-second spot doesn’t reveal much, it surely is going to be an interesting watch.
Avengers: Infinity War
Now before all your excitement levels shoot through the roof, let us tell you that this is just a 30-second tease and probably not much is revealed at all. What we know from the tease is that Dr. Strange is working with Ironman and we also get to see Captain America’s new shield? (Was that even a shield?) But the last scene shows Thanos and he has a grin on his face and so do we. Hopes are really high for this blockbuster and we cannot wait for it hit the screens.
Skyscraper
If Dwayne Johnson had to make a Die Hard movie, it would probably look something like this. A crippled man fighting for his family who is stuck in a 42-storeyed building as evil black-suited villains try to kill them is a classic recipe for a blockbuster.
Red Sparrow
Based on a bestseller, this movie garnered all the hype when it was announced. This R-Rated spy thriller looks really good, whatever little we saw and Jennifer Lawrence looks all set to shine as the Russian spy.
