Mission Impossible on OTT: Know when and where to watch 7th installment of Tom Cruise led franchise

Mission Impossible is produced by and features Tom Cruise and is easily among Hollywood's foremost spy-thrillers. It released the seventh film of the franchise, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, last year. The project was both critically  and commercially acclaimed during its theatrical run. The film is now all set to make its debut on OTT.

After an amazing theatrical run, Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is set to make its OTT debut. Amazon Prime Video has announced on January 4, that the film is set to premiere January 11 onwards. "Hold tight, the stakes have never been higher. it’s time for Mission: Impossible - The Dead Reckoning Part I, MI7 On Prime, Jan 11," the OTT platform wrote in the caption of their social media post.

The Tom Cruise starrer has grossed around $168 million in domestic theatres and $383 million in roughly 70 overseas markets for a worldwide total of over $551 million. The film became the longest-running franchise to end its theatrical run below $600 million. 

The Hollywood Spy action is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-written with Erik Jendresen. The film was a sequel to the 2018 film Mission Impossible - Fallout, it stands as the seventh part of the film's series. Tom Cruise has reprised his role as Ethan Hunt. The film also features Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga and Henry CZenry. The film's story revolves around Tom Cruise and his Impossible Missions Force (IMF) team as they confront a formidable rogue Artificial Intelligence (AI).
