Monster Hunter trailer: Action-sequences steal the attention of the Milla Jovovich starrer

On October 14, YouTube handle of Sony Pictures Entertainment dropped two-minute-long trailer of ir upcoming film Monster Hunter.  film adaptation of Capcom's best-selling game series will reunite  Resident Evil husband-wife duo of Milla Jovovich and writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson.  Monster Hunter trailer confirmed that upcoming film will be loosely based on video game lore.

Coming back to trailer, it sees Artemis (Jovovich) as leader of a United Nations military unit that travels through a sandstorm portal to a mysterious world, one that’s populated by monsters. squad is t used to batte huge beasts. Later, y team up with a man named Hunter (Tony Jaa) to try and take m down. Monster Hunter trailer is filled with special effects-driven action sequences.

On or hand, star cast of upcoming Hollywood film will also include a couple of international actors, such as Thai martial artist-actor Tony Jaa, Mexican singer-actor Diego Boneta and Australian actor Josh Helman, to name a few. Meanwhile, comments section of YouTube channel is flooded with mixed reaction. trailer has garnered over 1M views so far with over 4k comments. A viewer wrote, "This is t kind of movie any monster hunter fan asked for" while ar asserted, " only reason I’ll watch this movie is for monster designs and that’s it". A section of viewers called trailer "disappointing".

Interestingly, along with Rathalos, movie will feature Diablos and Palico sidekick, Meowscular Chef. During NYCC 2020, director Anderson said, “Meowscular Chef, who's Admiral's sidekick, who's a fantastic character, who has this rar flirtatious relationship with Milla, which is really interesting”.  upcomer is slated to hit  atres in December 2020. In India, Monster Hunter releases in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
