American Television star Nick Cann was fired by ViacomCBS on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. This comes after he me anti-Semitic remarks while on a YouTube Podcast. This received a lot of backlash from his audiences, and he was also sacked for it. w Nick took to microblogging site Twitter and apologised for anti-Semitic langu he used on podcast.

After his tweets came out, it was also reported that Cann will still host Fox's hit TV show Masked Singer. network released a statement to media on Wednesday night in which it was expressed that when y learnt about Nick Cann's interview with Richard Griffin on YouTube, company contacted Nick immediately.

controversy came to light after he posted his podcast that released on YouTube on June 30. In podcast, Nick Cann was speaking to Richard Griffin, aka Professor Griff, a former member of rap group Public Enemy. In podcast, he said "It’s never hate speech. You can’t be anti-Semitic when we are Semitic people, when we are same people who y want to be," said Cann. "That’s our birthright. We are true Hebrew.."

After release of podcast, several people condemned comments on social media after which Cann was dropped by ViacomCBS. media giant released a statement and said that y condemn "bigotry of any kind and we categorically deunce all forms of anti-Semitism". It was furr reported that Cann is in talks with ViacomCBS chairperson Shari Redstone and demanded full ownership of his long-running Wild 'n Out Brand from media giant. This show h got a 90-episode renewal in 2019. But spokesperson expressed that se claims are untrue.
